At Community Alliance, we are constantly encouraging everyone to practice positivity. That’s because gratitude is far more than making a habit of cursory “thank-you notes” – it’s a lifestyle – and it has the power to change the way we look at the world. According to the National Institutes of Health, gratitude is good medicine, and it’s been proven to significantly improve mental and physical health.

Several of those we serve have chosen to share their expressions of appreciation for the staff, the programs and the services at Community Alliance.

Because of Community Alliance, I am grateful for… the opportunity to work on my illness with knowledgeable and compassionate staff, interns, and students. I am very grateful.

Because of Community Alliance, I am grateful for… having someone to be there for me, a home and roommates who are positive and unafraid to show how they feel about things in their lives.
