Do I need to start Community Alliance programs/services in any specific order?
No, you can choose the programs that best fit what you need. We have trained staff to help you learn about all our services so you can make the best choice possible for yourself.
What are your walk-in hours to see someone about getting involved?
You can walk in to our 7150 Arbor Street office Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm to talk with our staff about what you might be interested in and need. Please bring your insurance card along with you if you have one and if you have a mental health provider already, please bring along their contact information.
What services are offered in Fremont Nebraska?
Community Alliance offers Community Support services in Fremont. Community Support staff members will come to your home and/or meet with you in the community to address your needs. We have an office in Fremont located at 1900 E. Military Avenue, however the staff are working in the field the majority of the time so you won’t likely find them there. Please call 402-341-5128 to reach the staff in Fremont.
Do I need insurance to participate in Community Alliance programs?
Community Alliance accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurance. If you do not have insurance or your insurance doesn't cover some or all of the services provided, we offer a sliding fee scale. This means we charge you based on your household size and income. Community Alliance staff are available to answer your questions about insurance and how you might qualify for a reduced cost under our sliding fee scale.
Does Community Alliance provide housing?
Yes, Community Alliance does provide housing along with mental health programming. To live in Community Alliance housing, you must also qualify for the mental health programming, such as Residential Rehabilitation, Community Support or Assertive Community Treatment. Community Alliance does not have general housing without the requirement to participate in mental health programming.
Do I need to pay rent when I live in Community Alliance housing?
Yes, you are required to pay rent. Community Alliance is like all other landlords in the community and rent must be paid monthly.
