2026 Breaking the Silence

Former NFL Wide Reciever and Mental Health Advocate Brandon Marshall to headline 2026 Breaking the Silence

We are excited to welcome Brandon Marshall to Omaha this fall for Community Alliance’s 30th annual Breaking the Silence event on Thursday, October 8th at the Holland Performing Arts Center.

Celebrating its 30th year, Breaking the Silence is Community Alliance’s signature event that has grown into one of the region’s major mental health awareness gatherings that also serves as a fundraiser to support the many incredible programs our team provides to over 6,000 people.

Brandon was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, which includes strong emotions that disrupt stability and relationships. Brandon shared, “When they diagnosed me, I just exhaled, like the biggest exhale of my life. It was just a huge relief.”

Since being diagnosed, Brandon has become a prominent mental health advocate. Drawing from his own lived experience, Brandon has transformed personal challenges into a purpose-driven lifestyle focused on longevity, wellness and unlocking human potential. His message of resilience and hope is sure to inspire all in attendance.
