Accreditations & Certifications

CARF Gold Seal

Nationally Accredited by CARF

Community Alliance programs are accredited by CARF, a national and international accrediting body applying rigorous standards based on best practices across a broad number of areas related to the delivery of person-centered care, continuous quality improvement, accountability and safety. For persons served, CARF accreditation provides numerous benefits, including access to services that are tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and goals. It ensures that they are treated with dignity and respect and that they can have confidence in the support provided. By choosing a CARF-accredited provider, individuals and their families can feel assured that they are engaging with a service that is dedicated to excellence, transparency, and ongoing enhancement of care.

Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC)

CCBHCs are specially designated providers that meet extensive standards established by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services’ Medicaid and Behavioral Health divisions to deliver comprehensive, high-quality behavioral health services. As one of seven Nebraska organizations to earn this designation, Community Alliance provides a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use services that are accessible, person- and family-centered, and tailored to meet the unique needs of diverse populations across our service area, including underserved and vulnerable groups. Key benefits of CCBHCs include expanded access to services, improved care coordination, and better outcomes for both individuals and community.

Best Practices Partner

The Nonprofit Association of the Midlands (NAM) Best Practices Partnership is designed to promote and support accountability, transparency, and operational excellence within nonprofit organizations. Participating organizations demonstrate their commitment to ethical governance, financial responsibility, and impactful service delivery through adherence to established best practices. The program helps to build confidence with funders, partners and community by providing a comprehensive means for organizations to ensure that legal and regulatory standards are being met and resources are used with effectiveness and integrity.
