Services Tailored to Each Person’s Unique Journey
Our outpatient substance use services are designed to provide flexible, structured support for individuals seeking recovery while allowing them to maintain their daily responsibilities, such as work, school, or family life. These include:
- Substance Use Evaluation: A comprehensive evaluation to understand the individual’s substance use patterns, co-occurring conditions, and personal recovery goals. This helps determine the appropriate level of care and treatment plan.
- Counseling: Individual, group, or family therapy sessions aimed at addressing the root causes of substance use, building coping strategies, and fostering emotional well-being.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): A higher level of care for those requiring more structured support. Our IOP involves multiple weekly sessions, combining therapy, education, and skill-building to address substance use and co-occurring disorders comprehensively.
- Relapse Prevention: Planning and aftercare support.
Peer Support and Navigation – Opioid Use
Community Alliance has also partnered with Douglas County Public Health and Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare in two multi-agency projects for persons with an opioid use disorder aimed at enhancing safety and engaging individuals into more effective care. Trained and certified peer navigators, who have themselves experienced mental health and/or substance use disorders, engage individuals at risk, assist in connecting them with treatment and other community resources, and serve as the person’s advocate and liaison with involved community partners throughout the recovery process.
