Family Education

Do you have a family member or a friend that has a mental illness? For many people in this situation, it can be a difficult and demanding experience. There is a wide range of emotions. Information may be hard to come by. Services and supports which might help are confusing to understand and hard to locate.
At Community Alliance we are committed to partnering with the families and friends of those who have a loved one with mental illness. We can provide understanding, a listening ear, practical information, and connections to others in similar situations. We offer classes specifically designed for family members and close friends to learn more about mental illness and how to take care of your loved one and take care of yourself.
A trained mental health worker who is also a family member of someone with a mental illness is ready to offer you information, support, and resources.

Please contact us by calling 402-341-5128 if we can be of help!
